A Review on Medicinal Plants Used in the Management of Kuruthiazhal (Hypertension ) in Siddha System
Abstract
The Siddhars classified the disease into 4448. In Siddha system of medicine, the symptoms of Kuruthiazhal(Rathapitham) may be correlated with Hypertension mentioned in Noikalukku Siddha parikaram. Although Siddha system is stuffed with more information on above fields there is a lack of scientific based evidence, and Siddha classical literature searches dragging its height.To attract the view of scientific world it is needed to prove our medicine with valid updation. To attain this a comprehensive researched literature review is needed. This is my first step to compile all the necessary information about plants for kuruthiazhal based on taste.
